trompe l'oeil drawings

What is trompe l'oeil?  Trompe l'oeil is a French term which means "to fool the eye".  The artwork creates an illusion that you are looking at the actual object and not a piece of art.  All of the images on this page were all drawn.  The background, paper, cards, tape and other objects are all drawn with graphite, charcoal, pastel and colored pencils.
