Having a commission done is a great gift for any occasion or can be an everlasting keepsake for yourself.

The commission process:

Choose a photo or photos of what you would like a drawing of. I can work with a variety of subjects. People, keepsakes, houses, etc.

Contact me via email jclapp@jclappart.com to start the dialog. Please title the email Commission request.

If images weren't included in the original email I will ask for them to be emailed at this time so I can provide feedback on quality of photo, scope of project and provide a quote. The better the image, the better the drawing will turn out. I can't add details that I can't see.

I work in sizes of 2" x 3"(mini) up to approx. 11" x 14".

I use high quality acid free materials to allow for generations of enjoyment. Note: acid free means it won't yellow over time.

I usually need at least 4 - 6 weeks to complete a drawing. The size, number of subjects, and background detail could add time to this.
